Stewards of Deaf education.
The Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf Board of Trustees provides fiduciary oversight, strategic direction, and governance for our NYS 4201 chartered school — ensuring excellence in Deaf education from infancy through graduation.
Stewards of the mission.
Our trustees bring expertise in education leadership, special education, audiology, Deaf community advocacy, and nonprofit governance. They volunteer their time to ensure Mill Neck Manor School fulfills its mission to every Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing student we serve.
The MNMSD Board operates under the governance umbrella of Lutheran Friends of the Deaf (the 501(c)(3) parent organization) and works in close partnership with the Executive Director and senior school leadership to advance the school's mission, financial health, and long-term strategic priorities.
