From overcoming the challenges of being born Deaf and living with polio to building a nearly four-decade-long career, Donald Mingo is the definition of perseverance.
After regaining the ability to walk and discovering his voice through American Sign Language at Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf, Donald went on to become one of the first participants in Mill Neck's supported employment program. Since 1986, he's been a beloved, dependable team member at Honda City โ where his dedication, positive attitude, and infectious laughter continue to uplift everyone around him.
Donald's story proves that with the right support and a determined spirit, anything is possible.
