Mill Neck Employment Services helps Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing adults find, secure, and keep meaningful employment — through Supported Employment (SEMP), job coaching, career development, and workplace advocacy.
Donald Mingo & Honda City — proof of what's possible.
Born Deaf and living with polio, Donald Mingo regained the ability to walk and discovered his voice through American Sign Language at Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf. He went on to become one of the first participants in Mill Neck's supported employment program.
Since 1986, Donald has been a beloved, dependable team member at Honda City in Long Island — bringing his trademark positive attitude, infectious laughter, and unflinching work ethic to every shift.
From first interview to long-term success.
